SUMMARY: Manages a district sales territory for sales generation and territory growth. Identification of key growth opportunities in both industry and accounts
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ø Consultative selling of System Plast products thru direct selling, distributors and OEMs.
Ø Understand application selling with goal of becoming an industry application specialist – Food and Beverage Applications and Customers
Ø Growth of sales territory to meet budget targets as determined by Sales management
Ø Work closely with distributors, including joint sales calls and training on products
Ø Identify prospects and target accounts
Ø Consult and coordinate customer orders, pricing and product information, and shipping with engineering, manufacturing, purchasing and sales.
Ø Partner with marketing, vendors and System Plast staff for promotional programs, target selling, trade shows, and other marketing activities
Ø Coordinate with customer service and inside sales on customer orders, issues or quotes – Customer Service is based in Italy
Ø Provide timely reports and updates as required
REQUIREMENTS:
Ø Minimum 5 years of sales experience in conveyor or power transmission industry or related packaging/packaging-equipment or engineered/technical products.
Ø Minimum B.S. Degree in Engineering – Mechanical engineering preferred
Ø Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and presentation skills
Ø Good English speaking skills – written and verbal. Ability to report on findings in a clear way
Ø Proficient computer skills including Word, Excel and related programs
Ø Multi-tasking and good analytical – problem solving skills
