
Job responsibility:

1. INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS: · Manage the relationship between workers and the management · Effectively resolve conflicts and drive problem solving through mediation with the union · Initiate long term settlements and memorandum of understanding with workers union including renewal of terms and addition of clauses · Monitor the attendance of workmen, payroll process at worker and staff level · Conduct disciplinary action against workers and staff when required and set up ad-hoc inquiry committees 2. STATUTORY MATTERS: · Handle court cases and legal notices · Coordinate with lawyers and prepare witnesses to ensure a fair trial · Educate staff members and workers of the terms of contract and legal guidelines to be followed 3. EMPLOYEE SATISFACTION: · Design and administer employee satisfaction survey at the worker level · Gauge levels of engagement and take corrective measures to achieve optimum levels of satisfaction |
4. COST CONTROL: Aim to reduce employee costs by proper manpower planning, reduction of expenses of court cases, legal settlements and efficient canteen services
